Restoran Yoke Heng, Serdang Raya

i'm pretty lucky nowadays..
whatever i want to eat at Serdang nowdays, i got people to accompany me
coz i think they can't tahan me nagging nagging...
but most of the time they are the same geng la..
this is the dinner after canton-i

the famous Restaurant Yoke Heng
they are famous for their claypot lou shu fen
i expect white lou shu fen with dark soya sauce and minced meat
instead i get this:

thick gravy lou shu fen, its like eating those thick shark fin soup..but replaced with lou shu fen,
dash of black vinegar just enhance the flavor..silky smooth..and they got this thing above which i can't really confirm is it dried shrimp or lard

sang har mee..expensive and not nice..the noodle got this some kind of weird taste..lee gang came late and so he is unable to stop us from ordering this..

the bittergourd soup..they say very bitter wor but the bitterness is nothing compared to momo wan..its like ten time more bitter coz she used baby bitter gourd..but this is not salty and not thirsty after that..good good..indicating less msg huh..

the herbal chicken..nothing to shout above, but i realize the meat is slightly overcooked coz its on the harsh side.and the herbal is not flavorful enough..i jus taste pretty heavy taste of tong kwai..

the greens just complete the meal..sweet potato leaves with lotsa garlic cloves...

two thumbs up from everyone..stir-fried lala..very delicious..and the flesh of the lala is still so juicy..excellent to go with a bowl of rice or on its own..the dried shrimp used with slight spiciness is just voila..squeaky clean plate...

the porky wrapped in aluminum foil..i forgotten what is it called..but the spared ribs is pretty tender..and they got meat not like those ribs only with big chunk of bones..not too salty not too sweet..also yummy

some said this place had started to become too commercial
but i dunno why, i still heart this place
maybe because every time i dine here, i was with people i like
maybe its on the pricey side when u compare the similar food you can get at kopitiam la..but who cares hor..

my fav of the day..the piping hot bun with a slice of thick butter..not fully melted so you can still felt the cold butter..the crust is on the crispy side.3 to 4 mouth finished!!RM4 for bun like that is indeed expensive but its pretty addictive..

the liu sa pau..i din taste it this time but i remember tasting it last time with ailing..the yellow salted yolk filling flowing out..cautious..its hot and yummy at the same time..

tea tea tea..to flush down all the food we ate..its good that they have the keep warm thing coz the restaurant is pretty cold..a pot to be share by 2..

the flaky egg tart..its a butter crust..i find it pretty okay since they are not so stingy on the eggu filling..but frankly speaking till now i still can't find egg tart that satisfy me and replace the egg tart i ate when i'm small..
i love my egg tart no necessary butter pastry but must be thin and flaky
then the eggu filling must be a lot lot and smooth
not too sweet..that would be awesome!!
any suggestion??

the fried radish..small plate..not bad la..but until the very end..super salty!!! coz the dried shrimp and chinese pickles are left

i dunno what they called this..i just know got a lot of prawn.. seems pretty fresh ma..but the side like got a bit burnt hor??

the char siew siew yoke rice with braised egg..their char siew is those 3 layer pork meat..fat..lean..fat and falls on the sweet side..and the siu yoke..crispy to go with the mustard and sugar..its good by itself too
if you are not a meat lover and being cautious bout your cholesterol..forget about this..and the rest below!!!

their wan tan noodle with the braised beef..erm not too tender..but the flavor was there but not good enough for me to crave more for it..and i like my wantan noodle to have sauce wan..they placed the siu yoke at the side but it became soggy after coming in contact with those sauce..wasted..

the three platter..roast duck with more char siew and more siu yoke...

moments later..squeaky clean not even cucumber or parsley is left..

this is how we satisfy out stomach after torturing ourselves for the seminar..

being loud and crazy at mamak stall later on

I LOVE MY COURSE

This post was up after I seen a page. I’m curious but at this point of time, it does not really matter anymore who is the one involved, there is no way to satisfy every single one around us and for someone to judge people that way, it do prove you are not holy (but no one ever sees you that way also). It’s the end of the journey, for you to be release from all the torture, I’m glad for you. It must be a life regretting period throughout this, I lay my pity on you. However, I do suggest you to think twice, before labeling it as place that caused you fear and disgust and fake, you have not been smiling sincerely to anyone in the circle?

I could loudly shout out, I had and NO REGRETS

What is the massive production of our course? I would proudly say: ladies and gentleman that is being honest of themselves by voicing out whatever they want

Ladies and gentleman that is honest? Is it cool to be a part of them? You know, there are lots of steps and qualification to actually become one. Though in the surface, it seems easy, it needs GUTS!! REAL GUTS!!

I love my course very much. Part of it is due to the laughter and bonds that are built throughout the years. I united with them, making sure I’m an insider. All these while, I never hesitate, all I felt was.. (Nodding in agreement and smile)

The reason of so? If you really be a part of this circle, it is relieved..I guarantee you. Some criticized, we are ‘nutz’. To a great extent, I raise both hands up. In this world, you need to be ‘nutz’ to enjoyed the moment and all this is not about surviving but only sharing the moments with your loved ones.

We stood firmly. Word, with an extra ‘s’ means WORDS indicating plural indicating we speaks a lot to voice out instead of using a weapon to stabbed you. Words coming out of our mouth couldn’t be a sword that bleeds you. One laugh, two laugh..Excitingly makes you laugh till drop. Most of the time, seeing laughter at the face of others, enjoying and cherishing the moments.

I’m always loud as most might think. I also have my own stand. I voice out all the time. Just, to bring something up but I don’t call it a chaos which voice out the inner sounds of many, I choose to stand in the circle.

Already, there are many survivors, whom I saw smiling, laughing, appreciating. Many are appreciating. Many are hoping for lasting moment. Many are just saying, they belong HERE.

Indeed. In the meantime listening to the crap of ABC, you will never know when you are the centre of the conversations. In the meantime expressing certain kind of thought, you will never know the response given by others but never be afraid to listen, it doesn’t matter it ended up as a joke as long as you can bear that the human world is brutal.

I’m leaving the circle (I don’t call it heaven coz I dunno how is heaven like). Yes, it is unbearable, I prefer lingering here more. The group of FRIENDS, I will always remember them. FRIENDS could be harsh but indeed SINCERE. Perhaps, we just do not know how to say goodbye to reduce the sadness to others. As long as you went through moments with them, they are still GREAT BESTIES.

Thank you. This place has carved a place in my heart

Let memories be memories. May it stay in me and never blown away by the wind.

Those that have been hurt, rubbing salt will only makes you heal faster indeed. I mean for ulcer la!!

had been staying with her for the past 3 years
from p2 122 to p5 237
having her with me was fun throughout all this semester
she was my best roommate
we had done so much together except taking photos..haha
she had graduated last sem..but we are still close :)

complimentary ice-cream from Hermes..its really from Hermes..not lying.

we seldom do outings..most of the time spent in room
we had different hobby, different taste in fashion, different in all sorts of way
but we still enjoy each other company
one thing, we love watching Grey's Anatomy..but we love different character

she is Chan Ying Chi..muakssss

she know almost all of my coursemates
and i make sure they know her too
even eilin n nat n carmen know her
everyone say i'm lucky to have her..why??

she wake me up when i need to study
she listen to my story every single day
she accompany me to l5 in the night
she accompany me during exam
she have dinner with me
she let me do anything i want in the room
she make me nice milo
she jokes with me..etc etc..

the latte was on the milky side where i don't really taste the shot..hmm..

remembered yuan said she n bl choked due to the chocolate powder
i think they sensed that too, so now less powder but replaced it with shaved of chocolate
they definitely used marscapone and they have moist sponge finger which is good
but the oomph from the coffee liquor is still missing..wasted wasted..

the hi-tea set for two..extreme chocolate muffin, lovely macaroons, love their marshmallow, scone was crumbly

saw the guy behind, he was yc partner, a Master student..she was very happy with him..
i'm the first few to know their story
i'm not sure do they share same interest
i'm not sure how they share their life
i only know i'm happy for her cause she is happy

spending it with them after the seminar
they crap a lot too
but i do get tired at the very end of the day

complimentary to go with the scones..
erm the butter don't melt after very very long
is it due to the quality i wonder??

the sparkle of the street light reminds me the time we spent walking around the college area
we walked a lot that time
especially for the purpose of ice-cream and cold drinks
something that i no longer experienced this sem
but i once enjoyed it

it ends with a great night

a good start

Anthony Bourdain once said a day start of well with a good breakfast

everyone have their own version of breakfast
me myself already had a few, depends on the mood
but the one below makes a good weekend breakfast
and i guess it makes a good one to a lot of people

a toast brown bun with homemade kaya, totally not over sweetened
with a piece of good butter melting on the bun
crisp on the outer layer, soft inside
one bite, the melted butter and kaya ooze out
accompanied with a good brew of coffee
that moment, you know you are having GOOD BREKKIE

of course this couldn't be miss to
half boiled egg, correct temperature, correct timing
crack crack
and you got THIS!!!

lick lick lick
SATISFACTION

btw, i knew her from 'The Hills', MTV reality show
but i don't expect she died so early,
i din even get to see her since i was still queuing for ticket when the movie started

Nat said it was a stupid movie
but since Cannie want to watch it, i give it a shot
not that bad la
some would have said, some crazy bitches that can't act
but i like one of the character 'Cassidy'
she was from Step Up 2 'The Street'..damn cool
if you are going to watch this, don't read the rest

the last scene, i remembered seeing the shirt of the lady is unbuttoned

its mainly thriller,
the sorority girls accidentally killed Megan which is Audrina, actually some jerk did it
so they though they are involved, they throwed her into a mine
months later, each and everyone of them started being killed
includes those that heard of it
at the very end, its just some physco boyfriend who did it so his gf doesn't get involved
how stupid..
and the sorority spirits is just fake ass in the story..
sisterhood doesn't exist most part of it

it was my last celebration of the mid autumn
although everyone is busy but i still insist on having this celebration

and my hard disk is already warning me with the amount of photo piling up
but its all WORTH it..

of course swee chin and lee ming were missing that night
thats the only thing missing
spending time with them was just awesome
i cherish every moment with them although its a bit too late to start cherishing..haha

our most talented singer,,Chan Lan Kor..
the album is going to be out very very soon..
he was the guy in my course that had problem being punctual most of the time
he loves to do cleaning in the kitchen
he was environmental friendly, coz he always used recycle bag as school bag

drop by at Dr. CAfe for the daily dose..though its a bit late dy
someone burn her mouth with the latte
while i find the caramel latte a bit too sweet
and of course more photo session

i'm going to miss all the fun we had
