Victoria Station, Taipan USJ

initialy we want to go for Vietnam food,
so unlucky, close down..its a ducky shop
so my aunty suggested Victoria Station
and since its been quite some time, ok lo
but traffic at Taipan is always a headache!!!!!

dining at this area is like dining in the train..
just that it is static..
the staffs are truly friendly!!!!!

complimentary roll and butter

as usual, she need to start with appetizer
soup
main course and dessert
everything must be full course
so make sure you spare time for 'aunty' if you want to dine with her

vanilla milkshake for me and strawberry milkshake for her
its good leh..creamy and not over sweet
i finished it half way through my meal i think
haha

the garlic bread
two thumbs up for this!!
crispy outer layer..the color of the garlic is already browned but there weren't any bitter taste
i think they slab pretty thick butter..
this was really really yummy...

the seafood cocktail
this was on the down side for me
the scallops were halved and its basically tasteless if there are no dressings
maybe its frozen scallops
but undeniable the prawn is fresh
besides that, normal..

next was the lobster bisque since the chowder is out of order
this bowl ended up squeaky clean
very thick bisque with chunks lobster
nothing fishy about this..goes well with the complimentary bread

next up was the main course
mine was the grilled lamb and salmon
presentation wise, erm typical normal presentation with huge broccoli florets and carrots
the lamb with sauce was good, nothing too hard..just nice
but the salmon, totally over cooked
i really don't like it when a fish overcooked especially salmon

next was her mixed platter of jumbo prawn and grilled fish
the fish was not bad compared to my salmon
but the prawn i think its slight over
coz its dry when i bite into it
in the end we din manage to finish everything also
so tapau lo, supposed to be my dinner but it ended up in chan's stomach
thank 'aunty' for the meal and the time spent
muaksss

christmas is coming very soon
less then a month time
always love the season of giving
but i wonder how will it be this time??

this would be my last post from the time i spent in school
oops..not really there was another one
the CHOCOLATE MAKING

stay tuned

sinny
