Neroteca, Lorong Ceylon

it was an assignment..the best assignment that burn a hole in our pocket
assignment: find a restaurant to dine in do a presentation on your dining experience

Neroteca

after some ppl put aeroplane, it left only three of us..chan, yuan and me..its ok..we had fun and embarassing moment..


nerorosso- lady's drink for sure...love it especially when its chill..


neroital mocktail..pretty good..

complimentary bread to go with the olive oil and vinegar

chan love this so much..but we do love it also..its very nice..we took 2 basket..ahhaha...never feel shy to ask for more..

air-dried parma ham and rock melon..
yummy yummy..i could have this again and again but the purse doesn't allow me to indulge such way
according to yuan, it is even better than elcerdo wan..amaze...

due to the chat with Chef Riccardo, he decided to whip us some meal that is not in the menu
smart ass of us to take the risk without knowing what is coming up and of course not knowing the price..
when the food came, we knew its bombastic..haha..before burning the hole..just eat la!!

suckling pig..with excellent baked potato..lentils i guess and of course yuan fav sun dried tomato and grilled vegetable salad..

almost every table ordered at least half of the suckling pig and big platter of cold cuts..
i guess its the signature..buts its really yummy..crisp at the outer later tender at the middle..what could you ask for at the night of cold??

flat pasta with mushroom and porky

chan said its italian kuey teow..i wonder is it a compliment or the other way round..all of us love this..i love the mushroom especially..its fresh and mushroomy..hihi..cant find the right word..

broccoli penne with spicy salami

a twist of spiciness in pasta jus wake us up..it was flavorful..yuan find it pretty spicy..but i find it good enough..all the pasta we ate did get my thumbs up coz we know 'al dente' is crucial and they did it..good job!!

since everything goes so well..how could we resist desserts..
but jus before i could indulge..something damn embarrasing happen
and since im going to do presentation on this assignment later on, im really lazy to elaborate it again and again..we'll skip tht part..
eventually i'm 'drunk'


rosemary creme brulee

something different..a hint of rosemary with the silky custardy dessert just send you to heaven..a bit kua chion i think..but its really good..i get to taste it before i 'collapsed'



tiramisu

they use marsala wine and marscapone cheese..its not my fav coz i alwiz like my tiramisu with a heavier side of booz..but the texture was pretty soft..



its suppose to be mocha..but since i pengsan dy..sumone took over it and contaminate it with 2 tsp of white and brown sugar each..ehw...totally awful..insulting my cup of coffee..


as usual, latte for yuan..she likes it as it smooth down her throat easily..
