The Suffolk House, Jalan Air Itam

what better things to do on a breezy afternoon then having afternoon tea with the girlfriends
and that's what we did, they brought me to this place called Suffolk House which they previously dine in for dinner and had good reviews about it..
it is a beautiful place almost like a mansion
the ambiance and architecture pictured the classy English style
and its best accompanied with good tea and pastries

thanks again for bringing me here

a perfect companion for the day

lets start off with a pot of tea from Ronnedfelt, always love their tea since i was exposed to it during my internship in Rasa Sayang. Each of us select a different tea, i stick to the camomile's as i needed the 'calm' during that period.haha.
if only this brand of tea is available on the market shelves.

here comes the pastries, strawberry tart, puff that contains something alcoholic and cookies.
sorry to said, i did not really favor any of those.
cookies were too hard and dry..and the flavor of the puff is too overpowering that i left it untouched after a bite. strawberry tart was nothing to be shout about
doesn't seems like a good start right??
but what comes next was the highlight!!!!

Chicken and mushroom pie..they were warm upon serving
crisp on the outer layer and creamy filling in the inside. the size was pretty big too for an afternoon tea
its time to act like a lady using the fork and knife

Next was the warm scones, we love scones and we do love their scone..
pre-warm before sent to us and the accompaniment
usually a good Devon clotted cream and strawberry will be excellent for me
this time, it came with butter, cream and four different homemade preserve..
they were delicious!!!

Finally, the last tier.simple cucumber sandwich and salmon sandwich..what a lovely lovely tea time..wish that the Klang Valley would have more this kind of place besides Carcosa and also hotels.

if you happens to be in Penang, nothing do in the afternoon, i would suggest to hop in here..the tea time starts from 2.30pm to 6.00 pm.

excellent for a lazy Sunday afternoon
