4 simple job took me at least 8 hours daily...syiok huh??!!

freaking tired even its such simple job or maybe not enough oink oink also la but at least its raining daily here now so i could curdle into my blanket again without worrying of the humid weather like previously...^^

Ireland Potato, Sunway Pyramid

this is going to be a short one
i guess those that watch movie at Sunway Pyramid would have came across this stall just outside of the cinema
although there are notice stating that no ireland potatoes are allow in the theater
but how many people really listen to that right??

carmen even success smuggle xiao long bao inside and she smuggle almost 3 box..haha
i guess this is the craziest one i hear so far
anyone else smuggle in food that is unusual
me and cannie brought a big handbag the other day to watch "the Box" (its a lousy movie featuring Cameron Diaz)
and they provide brown paper bag, so why not huh?? bad bad

potatoes with mayo-wasabi dressing
crispy on the outer layer but still soft inside
they fried upon ordering
and coated with the sauce..love it so much..
there are all kinds of dressing, bolognese, spicy, etc etc

there is an Ireland proverb saying:
there are two things in the world that can't be joked

is it true?? i got to ask wein

next was the onion ring
ok, its nothing special
but at least its crispy and not those onion ring i had previously which is soggy
you can still taste the sweetness of the onion
wonder do they use the same onion like Tony Roma's huh??

some said this place had started to become too commercial
but i dunno why, i still heart this place
maybe because every time i dine here, i was with people i like
maybe its on the pricey side when u compare the similar food you can get at kopitiam la..but who cares hor..

my fav of the day..the piping hot bun with a slice of thick butter..not fully melted so you can still felt the cold butter..the crust is on the crispy side.3 to 4 mouth finished!!RM4 for bun like that is indeed expensive but its pretty addictive..

the liu sa pau..i din taste it this time but i remember tasting it last time with ailing..the yellow salted yolk filling flowing out..cautious..its hot and yummy at the same time..

tea tea tea..to flush down all the food we ate..its good that they have the keep warm thing coz the restaurant is pretty cold..a pot to be share by 2..

the flaky egg tart..its a butter crust..i find it pretty okay since they are not so stingy on the eggu filling..but frankly speaking till now i still can't find egg tart that satisfy me and replace the egg tart i ate when i'm small..
i love my egg tart no necessary butter pastry but must be thin and flaky
then the eggu filling must be a lot lot and smooth
not too sweet..that would be awesome!!
any suggestion??

the fried radish..small plate..not bad la..but until the very end..super salty!!! coz the dried shrimp and chinese pickles are left

i dunno what they called this..i just know got a lot of prawn.. seems pretty fresh ma..but the side like got a bit burnt hor??

the char siew siew yoke rice with braised egg..their char siew is those 3 layer pork meat..fat..lean..fat and falls on the sweet side..and the siu yoke..crispy to go with the mustard and sugar..its good by itself too
if you are not a meat lover and being cautious bout your cholesterol..forget about this..and the rest below!!!

their wan tan noodle with the braised beef..erm not too tender..but the flavor was there but not good enough for me to crave more for it..and i like my wantan noodle to have sauce wan..they placed the siu yoke at the side but it became soggy after coming in contact with those sauce..wasted..

the three platter..roast duck with more char siew and more siu yoke...

moments later..squeaky clean not even cucumber or parsley is left..

this is how we satisfy out stomach after torturing ourselves for the seminar..

a good start

Anthony Bourdain once said a day start of well with a good breakfast

everyone have their own version of breakfast
me myself already had a few, depends on the mood
but the one below makes a good weekend breakfast
and i guess it makes a good one to a lot of people

a toast brown bun with homemade kaya, totally not over sweetened
with a piece of good butter melting on the bun
crisp on the outer layer, soft inside
one bite, the melted butter and kaya ooze out
accompanied with a good brew of coffee
that moment, you know you are having GOOD BREKKIE

of course this couldn't be miss to
half boiled egg, correct temperature, correct timing
crack crack
and you got THIS!!!

dash of soya, dash of pepper, mix mix mix
slurp slurp slurp
lick lick lick
SATISFACTION

of course there are always alternative

not to dry not to wet
enough to satisfy the heavy ones

purchasing and ramadhan bazaar

tomoro is Malaysia birthday..so its a public holiday
no market..therefore i got to do as much purchasing i could today
but early morning, rain pour so heavily
but i still manage to get some of the stuff at the eng ann market
before going to the pasar besar
and followed by tesco
and lastly Shah Alam bazaar ramadhan

colorful jelly..wonder will i taste it..

daddy was so tired dy after tesco but he still brought me to the bazaar since he promise me..thanks dad, mum and aunty li jun for running around with me whole day
its twice the size of the one at Serdang..more varieties..but only one stall of nasi kerabu
can't wait for the Serdang one..hope its still there

went out with nat the other day
and its for a belated birthday celebration
she knew i doesn't mind late
as long as it is really planned and worked according to plan :)
so she treated me to Carlos, Pavillion
i had a great meal there
besides the food of coz the accompaniment,
she knew what i love to eat
its just so satisfying
and i'm so happy..it just makes my day better..
its one of my best days since school started
we could just keep on talking until we didn't watch movie at the end of the night
i had so much fun although we totally forgotten where we park our car
it doesn't matter

mine baked fish..dont really remember the full name..i love this..fish is cooked really nice..im pretty picky when it comes to fish..i hate overcooked fish..hint of vinegar..with some crumbs..yummylicious..

her baked penne topped with medium cooked roast beef..i would prefer it semi-medium..with slices of aged parmesan..its just good enough for her too..

Senjyu sushi

i had a great time the last time i dine in at Sunway branch and i miss their foie gras sushi. so i decided to just bring yuan there despite being broke at that moment of time..haha..

the ikura cawanmushi..although the ikura din top everything like what zanmai had..but the egg is silky and tht is the main thing..i think nat would love this..

they had a promotion that day..where the baked oyster is only half the price..i ordered 2 and succeeded in tempting her to eat..she dun like oyster due to the fishy smell..but if its fresh doesn't matter..but i kept quiet when she did something stupid to the oyster..i wonder should i spill it out here..can i do tht??

i think this is the moriwase platter..5 different kind of sashimi, salmon, tuna, tako, another 2 i dun remember their names..

pretty fresh although its thinly slice..haha

the wagyu maki which only cost 39.90..i love it..although its really plain..but its fresh..a bit of shoyu and that is it..

our starter salad..ok its really fresh but the dressing i prefer the one i had at zanmai..i wonder do she agree with me??this one is a bit more mild..

dr boo son would love this..its thick and its firm..not to sweet..doesn't fell off into pieces..

at least they are not stingy with the salmon here..full load of salmon pieces..yummy yummy..

green tea mochi with black sesame sauce..the flavor of both is not overpowering..just mild..i think its good enough for me..

see see!!she is enjoying despite how tired is she..
