purchasing and ramadhan bazaar

tomoro is Malaysia birthday..so its a public holiday
no market..therefore i got to do as much purchasing i could today
but early morning, rain pour so heavily
but i still manage to get some of the stuff at the eng ann market
before going to the pasar besar
and followed by tesco
and lastly Shah Alam bazaar ramadhan

colorful jelly..wonder will i taste it..

daddy was so tired dy after tesco but he still brought me to the bazaar since he promise me..thanks dad, mum and aunty li jun for running around with me whole day
its twice the size of the one at Serdang..more varieties..but only one stall of nasi kerabu
can't wait for the Serdang one..hope its still there

dendarum..its made from gula melaka..damn good and addictive..piping hot..mummy call it little donut

i do learn a lot today..let see what i learn:

the right way to clean kembong fish so that the bone won't fall apart after cooking..
which part of beef is for wat and wat..thanks to the lovely couple for teaching me..
the right way to do siu mai filling..
recognizing the salted fish..
understanding what kind of cashew nut origins is good..
what kind of shallots to be eaten raw..
sumore got wat?? dun remember
i jus know we are tired and im like aunty..

2 days back, i was buying serunding and ketupat, there was this young lady talking to her sister:

young lady: eh, what is this?
the sister: dunno
young lady: why so 恶心 wan sumore got people eat

fried lekor and fleshy fried nangka..what can you expect more..

i was piss off when hearing it. i can accept ppl saying the things is disgusting after they had tasted it or at least know what is it..how could you use that word when u dun even know what is it..if you say its weird, its still acceptable right..u only make urself sounds like 'katak di bawah tempurung'...

the ikan bakar is so tempting

they have all kinds of fish and its not cheap

murtabak daging and murtabak ayam...yummylicious

lemang..to go best with the rendang and serunding i bought

the satay tower..so difficult to take this pic cause its so smoky along the street and im using my old cam..trying my luck..it works..

it was a great weekend
cant wait for serdang bazaar and laughing ko movie with my uni pals
